Anna T. Dignam (Bader)

Anna T. Dignam, born on June 13, 1931, to the late Hilarius and Theresia (nee Wilhelm) Bader, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, peacefully departed this life on August 11, 2025, at the age of 94, surrounded by her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community.

Anna dedicated her life to her family, cherishing her role as a homemaker and nurturing her children with unconditional love. She is survived by her children, Anne B. Brouse (Bob), Theresa R. Dignam, John J. Dignam Jr., Patricia M. Cumberland (Kenneth), Mary Traber (the late George) and Lorraine C. Kenderdine (Mark). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Christina Mifflin (Al), Robert Brouse (Aimee), Joshua Cumberland (Ashley), Zachary Cumberland (Meghann), and Matt Traber, as well as her great grandchildren, Luke, Ben, Ethan, Emily, Avery, Olivia, and Everett. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and her love will continue to inspire them throughout their lives. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John Dignam, and her brother, John Bader.

Anna was an avid reader and a proud volunteer for the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, where she fostered connections with others who shared her faith and values. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, and she will be profoundly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anna’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Wednesday, August 20th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Anna’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/.
