Anne E. Connelly

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Eva Connelly, aged 96, who left us peacefully on January 24, 2025, in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Born on May 8, 1928, in Feasterville Trevose, PA, Anne lived a life marked by love, laughter, and dedication to her family.

Anne was a devoted mother to her daughters, Donna Voorhees-Waltz (Tom), Geraldine Feehan (Charlie McMenamin), and Lawanna Thompson (Terry), and her son, Brian Connelly (Debbie). She also cherished her 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her caregiver, Don Feehan and her dog, Lily and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Throughout her life, Anne connected deeply with those around her, nurturing relationships that will long be remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Connelly, her longtime companion Vince Gedeon, her children, Michael Connelly (Jean) and Dennis Connelly (Nancy), as well as her siblings, Valentine Simonds, Margaret Warner, Eva Ratzke, Frank Simonds, John Simonds, and Madeline Knox.

Professionally, Anne made her mark in the field of electronics as a technician with United Aircraft and Philco, where her skills and dedication contributed significantly to the manufacturing industry. Her intelligence and determination allowed her to excel in her role.

Outside of her work, Anne had a zest for life that was evident in her love for dancing, Philadelphia Phillies and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, activities that brought her joy and laughter. She exemplified resilience and positivity, leaving a legacy of kindness to her family and friends.

A memorial service in Anne's honor will be held at Tomlinson Funeral Home on January 31, 2025, at 11:00 AM, following a public visitation at the same location from 10:00 AM. Interment will be private.

Anne Eva Connelly will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In honor of her life, we invite those who were touched by her kindness to join us in celebrating her memory.
