Annie Martha Elder

Annie Martha Loftus Elder of Bensalem passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was 85 years old. Born in Ozark, Alabama, Martha was a resident a Bensalem for the last 7 years and was formerly of Newtown and Somerton Section of Philadelphia. Martha worked as a nursing assistant and recreational coordinator for over 30 years at the Boulevard Nursing Home. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, eating out, listening to Oldies 98, spending time with her dog toby, ballroom dancing and swimming in her youth at Panama City Beach, Fl. Martha was preceded in death by her husbands, John R. Loftus and Joseph Elder. She will be sadly missed by her 4 loving children: John J. Loftus, Anna Ligambi (Joseph), Pamela Marion (Brady) and Nancy Loftus. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: John (Deborah), Michael, Kerri (Daniel), Nicole (Anthony), Molly, Christopher, Taylor, Michelle and Joshua and 4 great grandchildren: Amber, Brandon, Zachary and Liam.
