It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio DiMattia, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 70. Antonio, known affectionately as “Tony,” was born on September 9, 1955, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania to the late Alexander and Giovanna (nee Rama) DiMattia. He resided in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Tony was the proud owner of Tony DiMattia Landscaping, a testament to his hard work and dedication to his craft. He was well-respected within the landscaping community, and his passion for nurturing both plants and relationships was evident to all who knew him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Tony was a man of many talents. He had a deep love for music, often sharing his joy through the rhythms of his trumpet and the melodies of the piano. He also enjoyed lively conversations about sports, bringing his family's collective energy into spirited discussions that brought smiles to all.
He leaves behind his devoted wife, Susan DiMattia, who stood by his side throughout their journeys together. He is also survived by his beloved step son, Michael Schalek (Nikki), along with his cherished step daughter, Sarah Ehrlich (the late David), as well as his grandchildren, Arthur, Ian, Blake, Ella, and Julia. Tony's legacy will continue through his family, including his dear sister, Maryann Angelucci (Tom), brother Alex DiMattia (Nancy), sister Christine Jackson (Fran), and his many nieces and nephews.
