Barbara Susan Evans

Barbara Susan (Harple) Evans of Bensalem passed away Saturday August 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 89 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Bertha (Goetter) and James Harple and was a resident of Bensalem for the past 30 years and was formerly of Philadelphia.

Barbara was a graduate of St. Boniface Grade and Business School. She found joy in spending time with her family, and watching her favorite Soap Operas was a treasured pastime for her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Charles E. Evans, Sr. She will be deeply missed by her children: Barbara S. Derer (James), Karen M. Wendowski (Joseph), Stephen G. Evans (Victoria) and the late Charles E. Evans, Jr (Nancy). Barbara is also survived by her grandchildren: Francis Evans (Gina), Charles Evans, III (Christine), Joshua Evans (Nicole), Rebecca Evans, Rosalitta Bender, Alicia Bienner (Phillip), Stacy Zalenski (Andrew) and Alfred Crawford, II (Lisa); and her great grandchildren: Nicholas, Autumn, James, Reed, Aubrey, Jeffrey, Jr, Reanna, Charles, IV, Amelia, Bryce and Jack Evans, Dominic and Alexis Frearson, Ryan, Colin and Carly Biener, Alexander and Ava Zalenski, Kayla Crawford (Kieran), Charlotte and Addison Crawford.; and her great-great grandchildren: Kennley, Klaudia and Kolbie McGrory. Barbara was also preceded in death by her grandchildren: Jeffrey Evans and Jason Crawford and her great grandchildren: Emma Sue Evans and Gabriel Evans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, August 9, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11 AM.
