Betsy (Pencer) Mager of Bensalem passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Elizabeth (Lindsey) and Frank Pencer and was a resident of Bensalem for over 30 years.
Betsy dedicated over 20 years of her life to serving as a bus driver for the Bensalem School District, ensuring the safety and well-being of countless children. Outside of work, she found joy in spending summers at Long Beach Island, NJ, lounging by the pool with her beloved grandchildren, and indulging her passion for antiquing. Betsy loved accompanying her husband, Rick, in his treasured 1966 Corvette, and she had a soft spot for her dogs, Sammy and Tucker. She was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan.
Betsy will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 30 years, Rick Mager. She will also be deeply missed by her son, Michael Winkler; Her brother, Frank Pencer (Diane) and her grandchildren, Mia Winkler, Kayla Middleton, Austin Middleton, and Jimmy Mullen. Betsy was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Shelby Farrell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
