Carlos E. Belevan

Carlos E. Belevan Sr., passed away Thursday September 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was 77 years old. Born in Lima, Peru to the late Maria (Zavala) and Emilio Belevan and was a resident of Philadelphia for 44 years. Carlos worked as a machine operator for over 40 years.

Throughout his life, Carlos found joy in the simple pleasures - cheering on his favorite soccer team, Deportivo Municipal, reveling in the excitement of Philadelphia sports, and dancing to the rhythms of Salsa and Merengue His infectious love for life and unwavering commitment to his family will always be remembered.

Carlos will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, Elena C. Belevan (Benites). He will also be deeply missed by his loving children, Carmen Belevan and Carlos E. Belevan Jr. (Melissa Smith). He was the loving Abuelo to Gabriela Snyder (Marcus Snyder), Emily Belevan (Brandon Ortiz), Zachary Belevan, and Ryan Belevan. Carlos was also fortunate to meet his great-grandson, Danny Manuel Ortiz. Carlos was preceded in death by his son, Felix Benites and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Eveline-Rose Snyder.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Wednesday September 11, 2024 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Saint Helena Catholic Church 6161 N 5th St Philadelphia, PA 19120. A Mass will follow from 10:00AM to 11:00AM and a burial proceeding at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road Bensalem, PA 19020.
