With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Carmen Criollo, who left us peacefully on December 9, 2025. Born in Ecuador on November 25, 1967, to the late Nestor and Rosa (nee Segarra) Criollo, Carmen was a cherished daughter, devoted wife, loving mother, and a fosterer of family bonds that will forever resonate in our hearts.
Carmen was the heart of her family, known for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering dedication to making a warm, welcoming home. As a homemaker, she took great joy in cooking delicious meals that brought smiles to the faces of her loved ones. An avid volleyball player, Carmen thrived on activity and camaraderie, and she delighted in raising chickens, sharing the rewards of her labor with her family.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Manuel Pasato; her son, Alex Pasato Criollo; her daughter, Catherine Pasato Criollo; and her siblings, Miguel, Maria, Regina, Angel, Angela, Julia, and Jesus Criollo. Each of them carries cherished memories of her laughter, wisdom, and endless love.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carmen’s viewing at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, December 13th from 9:30 -10:30 AM followed by her mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery.
In our sorrow, we are grateful for the time we had with Carmen and the love she provided. Her spirit will remain alive in our hearts and in the memories, we share, reminding us to cherish our time together as family. Rest in peace, dear Carmen; you will be missed more than words can express.
