Caroline W. Roberts

Caroline W. Roberts, a beloved member of the Newportville community since the early 1970’s, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 22, 1944, in Jacksonville, FL, and enjoyed a fulfilling life dedicated to her family, work, and passions.

Caroline was a proud entrepreneur, with her husband, Gary, of Daley-Roberts Refuse Removal and T&L Container Services for over 30 years, with dedication and passion. With her entrepreneurial spirit, she made a lasting impact in her community through her hard work and commitment to excellence.

Throughout her life, Caroline found joy in horseback riding, dog training, and gardening. She was particularly fond of her Rottweilers, who brought her immense happiness and companionship. Her love for animals and nature was truly a testament to her kind and nurturing soul.

Caroline is survived by her devoted children, Gary Roberts (ToQuyen), Tracy Roberts, and Ryan Roberts (Tamika) and her grandchildren,

Taylor, Sarah, Jessica, Aiden, Koby, and Jason, and great grandson, Austin, who will continue to cherish her memory and legacy. She will be fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Gary T. Roberts in 2023 and her sister, Bonnie Neill in 1994.

A Memorial Service to honor Caroline's life will be held at Tomlinson Funeral Home on July 3, 2024, at 8:00 pm. Prior to the service, a Public Visitation will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 pm, allowing friends and loved ones to pay their respects and share memories of Caroline’s life.
