Charlene Lewis

November 28, 1945 — November 3, 2025

Ocean City

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charlene May Lewis, who left us on November 3, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on November 28, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Charles and Edna (nee Anderson) Greer, Charlene spent her life bringing joy to those around her, and her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.

Charlene was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Carl Lewis, and an always loving mother to her three daughters, Stephanie Smith, Danielle Lewis and Christina Hughes (Mike), as well as a beloved grandmother to Abigail, Raelynn, Emma, Quinn, and Riley, and a loving sister to her siblings, James Greer (Paula) and Roberta Wisler (Arthur). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Lewis.

Charlene embraced family life wholeheartedly, finding immense joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was spending sunny days at the shore, enjoying card games, or gathering for dinner with loved ones.

Professionally, Charlene dedicated many years to her career as a loan officer at Frankford Trust and First Trust Bank, where she was respected and admired for her commitment to her clients and her work. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Charlene was an active member of her community, serving with the Trevose Heights/Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad and finding spiritual fulfillment as a member of the Ocean City Tabernacle, NJ.

A passionate fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, Charlene took great delight in cheering for her favorite teams especially with family as her enthusiasm was infectious. Additionally, traveling with family and friends and her love of reading enriched her life, providing her with countless adventures between the pages.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charlene’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, November 7th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.

Our family invites all who knew and loved Charlene to join us in honoring her memory and celebrating a life beautifully lived. Her legacy of love, kindness, and joy will forever remain in our hearts.
