Charles E. Jones

Charles Edgar “Chickie” Jones, age 84 passed away April 11, 2020 at Harborview Care Center in Doylestown, PA. Born in Philadelphia on September 10, 1935. He was a resident of Collegeville for the past 46 years. He was a self- employed automotive electrician and owner and operator of Chic’s Generator in Phila., for many years. He also worked for SEIU and the Montgomery County Parks Dept. before his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jean (Fessler) Jones, 5 children; Carol Jones Graber, Deborah Jones, Charles Jones Jr. (Deborah), Victor Jones (JoAnn) and Howard Jones (Kelly). He enjoyed his family, the mountains, music, dancing and working in his yard. One of his greatest loves was coaching ice hockey. He was proud of his Methacton JV team that won the championship as underdogs. Chickie is also survived by his sister Florence Casale, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bobby Graber. Funeral services and interment private.
