Born in Franklin, PA to the late Mary (Colella) and George Shoemaker and was a resident of Bensalem for the last 2 years and was formerly of Philadelphia. Charlotte dedicated over three decades of her life serving many roles at Fort Dix, NJ, ultimately retiring as the Secretary of Protocol, leaving an indelible mark on those she encountered. Charlotte's passion for baking and nurturing her grandchildren, as well as caring for her flourishing rose garden, illuminated her days. Charlotte will be deeply missed by her daughter, Jacqueline Gentner. She was also the loving “Gam” of Tenae and Lailen Gentner. Beloved sister of Lynda Graf (Chris), Janet Geib (late husband Bill), and Barbara Booth (Bill), and will also be deeply missed by her best friend Dagmar, whom she would spend hours talking on the phone with.
