Cheryl Marie Darrah (Truhan)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl Marie Darrah, aged 78, who left this world peacefully on August 29, 2025. Cheryl was born on June 27, 1947, in Shenandoah, PA, to the late John and Cornelia (nee Hoes) Truhan, and spent her life immersed in the beauty of family and the joy of creativity. Her cherished home in Feasterville Trevose, PA, will forever be remembered as a sanctuary filled with love, laughter, and her vibrant spirit.

Cheryl dedicated many years to her career as an administrator at Fisher and Porter Credit Union, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to her colleagues and clients.

A passionate gardener, Cheryl found solace in tending to her plants, cultivating beauty in every season. She was a gifted cook, delighting friends and family with her culinary creations, and her home was always adorned with her unique decorative touches. Cheryl's love for arts and crafts reflected her imaginative spirit, as she found joy in creating and sharing her talents with those around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Charles Darrah, and her step children, Charlene Darrah, Charles Darrah Jr., Anthony Darrah, Lisa Darrah, and Daniel Darrah, as well as her grandchildren, Kristy and Nicole Burpee, and great grandchildren, Gianna, Autumn, and Amelia, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Cheryl’s warmth, wisdom, and creativity will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cheryl was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Truhan.

Cheryl's legacy of love and creativity will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty she created in her lifetime.
