Christopher Cruz

Christopher Cruz, a cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on September 19, 1977, in Philadelphia, PA, Christopher was a devoted Mason, passionately working in the construction industry with E.D.A., where he showcased his dedication and skill.

Beyond his professional life, he found joy in simple pleasures; he loved tending to his yard, riding his tractor, and chopping trees. Christopher’s happiest moments were often spent watching TV with his beloved family, including cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, whose games became treasured family traditions.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Brooke Rosenblatt; his daughter, Alexis Cruz; his father, Fernando Garcia; his mother, Lydia Garcia; and his siblings, Fernando Garcia Jr., Veronica Garcia, and Raul Cruz. He was preceded in death by his brother Miguel Cruz. Christopher’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Christopher’s viewing at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Churchville, Pa 18966 on Monday, August 11th from 10:00-11:00 Am followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.

In this time of loss, we remember Christopher for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
