Deborah Lyn Jones

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Deborah Lyn Jones, who left this world peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on February 6, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Jean (née Fessler) Jones.

Deborah was known for her love of cooking and found great joy in preparing meals for family and friends, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever she went. Her happy place was North Wildwood, New Jersey, where she cherished watching peaceful sunsets that nourished her spirit and brought her immense happiness.

Deborah is survived by her beloved son, Eric Pertschi; her daughter-in-law, Melissa; and her treasured grandson, Evan. She is also survived by her siblings: Carol Starr (Tom), Charles Jones (Deborah), Victor Jones (JoAnn), and Howard Jones (Kelly) and eight nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her partner, Charles Ziegler, with whom she spent the last five years enjoying life together in their home in Florida. Her legacy of love, kindness, and warmth will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jean Jones.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.

Deborah’s warm heart and loving spirit will be dearly missed, but her memory will remain a guiding light in the lives of those she touched.
