It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane J. Kensey, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who left this world peacefully on May 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on June 23, 1943, Diane dedicated her life to nurturing her family with unwavering love, kindness, and grace.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Dennis Kensey, her daughter, Marianne Meyer (Gerald), her sons, Timothy Kensey and Christopher Kensey, and her cherished grandchildren, Lindsay Meyer-Schoultz (Richard), and Amy Meyer, as well as a great-grandson to arrive in June. Diane was the heart of her family, sharing her wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love.
Before dedicating herself to raising her children, Diane worked at a bank, where she first met her husband, Dennis. After marrying and starting a family, she became a stay-at-home mother, creating a warm and loving home for her children. Later, she worked as a part-time sales associate at Strawbridge & Clothier and Macy's. Her warmth and dedication were evident, not only in her professional life, but especially in her unwavering devotion to her family.
Diane found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially supporting her granddaughters through life milestones and extracurricular activities. She also enjoyed reading and watching Philadelphia Flyers, Phillies, and Eagles games with her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Diane’s viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, May 29 from 10:00-10:45 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
In honoring Diane's memory, we invite all who knew and loved her to come together to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the hearts she touched. She will be deeply missed and always remembered in our hearts.
