Dinorah Ortiz

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dinorah Ortiz, cherished mother and grandmother, who departed from this world on May 25, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 7, 1944, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, to the late Jorge and Dinorah (nee Velez).

Dinorah embraced life with a warm spirit and an unwavering love for her family and friends. She spent her later years in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, where she became an integral part of the St. Ephrem community. She enjoyed spending her time playing cards and dominoes among her friends from several senior citizen groups.

Dinorah leaves behind her beloved daughters, Maran Diaz (Harry Negron) and Dinorah Reinmiller (Mark), as well as her cherished grandchildren: Vale, Sean, Kate, Cole, Alana and Carola. She is also survived by her sisters, Ivone and Gloria Ortiz (Hamilton Fisher), and nephews Jorge, Daniel, Javier, and Jorge Jesus. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jose Ortiz.

In honor of Dinorah’s remarkable life, relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Friday, May 30th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.

In this time of mourning, let us remember the joy and light Dinorah brought into our lives. Her legacy of love will remain in our hearts forever.
