Dolores M. Carapella

Dolores M. (Burke) Carapella, of Bensalem, passed away on September 9th at the age of 90. Born July 29, 1932, in Philadelphia, to the late Francis Burke and Mary Svetlin Burke, she graduated from St. Huberts High School class of 1950. She was a Homemaker, an accomplished musician, specifically as a Pianist and Oboist, a Eucharistic Minister at St. Charles Borromeo Church, and most importantly, she stayed in touch with her 12 best friends, known as the Sorority Sisters. Dolores will be deeply missed by her children: Anthony W. Carapella Jr. (Rhonda), Daniel Carapella (Maria), John Carapella, Dolores Slabicki (Thomas), and Robert Carapella, as well as her grandchildren: Christy Naselli (Fran), Anthony W. Carapella, III (Marissa), Daniel J. Carapella (Stephanie), David A. Carapella, John Carapella Jr. (Dee), Thomas J. Slabicki, Christopher F. Slabicki, and Amanda E. Slabicki, and her 12 great grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Anthony W. Carapella Sr., her son Rev. Thomas J Carapella, TOR, and her great grandch, Luke Carapella. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewing on Saturday September 17th at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dolores’ name to St. Charles Borromeo Church at the above address
