It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dominic Egidio Fossile, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us on August 1, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Dominic A. and Dorothy (nee Szczypiorska) Fossile, Dominic spent many fulfilling years working for Leeds & Northrop, General Electric, Lockheed Martin, and others as a dedicated software engineer.
Dominic was the loving father of son Dominic Fossile and daughters Lauren and Gina Fossile. He also found joy in being a grandfather to Harrison, Ezekiel, and Henry, who will carry fond memories of his warmth and wisdom. He is survived by a large and loving family, including siblings Dan Fossile (Deb), Jim Fossile (Debbie), Anthony Fossile (Sue), Tom Fossile (Lisa), Egidio Fossile, Teresa O'Keefe (Kerry), and Joe Fossile, as well as his former spouse, Karen Moran Fossile, and his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
An avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Dominic enjoyed sharing his love for football with friends and family, often bringing laughter and spirited debate to gatherings. As a member of the Knights of Columbus, he devoted countless hours to serving his community and helping those in need, reflecting his compassionate heart.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dominic’s viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Saturday, August 8th from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
Dominic will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for his loving spirit, dedication to family, and his unwavering kindness. May he rest in peace.
