Donald Walter Guy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Walter Guy, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed from this life on May 19, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on July 24, 1945, to the late Charles and Betty (nee Behr), Donald lived a life marked by service, dedication, and kindness.

Donald proudly served his country as a Sergeant (T) in the U.S. Army from October 25, 1965, until he was honorably discharged on October 10, 1968. Following his military service, he devoted his career to the Pennsylvania State Police, where he served as a state trooper, being honorably discharged, embodying integrity and commitment to public safety.

A resident of Bensalem, PA, Donald was not only known for his professional dedication but also for his warm heart and passion for life. He cherished his family deeply, leaving behind his beloved wife of 25 years, Gloria Guy (nee Affleck), children, Denise Esposito, Melissa Gilbreath, Robert Homolka, and Joyce Cesari, and grandchildren Kyle, Gavin, Carson, Emma, Hayden, and Arielia. He also is survived by his brother Darryl Guy (June), along with his niece Christine Owsinski (Michael). Donald was preceded in death by his siblings, David Guy, Diane Cuvo.

An avid member of the Corvair Club, Donald had a love for classic cars and enjoyed connecting with fellow enthusiasts. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him, and his spirit will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Donald’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Tuesday May 27, 2025 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, followed by his service at 9:30 AM. Interment will take place at Sky View Memorial Park, 108 Lafayette Avenue, Tamaqua, PA 18252.

Donald Walter Guy will be remembered for his unwavering strength, compassionate nature, and the love he shared with his family and community. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
