Donna M. D'Andrea

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna M. (Toroniewski) D'Andrea, who left us peacefully on Sunday September 27, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on February 21, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Anna Mae (Walerski) and Adam Toroniewski, and was a lifelong resident of Bensalem.

Donna was also a passionate advocate for individuals with special needs and was honored to serve as the founding member of the St. Charles Borromeo Church Special Needs Basketball Program for over 25 years. Her dedication earned her the title of Citizen of the Year from Bensalem Township, a testament to the love and commitment she had for her community.

When she wasn't volunteering, you could find Donna enjoying life to the fullest, whether it was dancing, dressing up for the Kentucky Derby, or catching fish during family vacations. She had a zest for life that was contagious, and her warm spirit will be greatly missed.

A cherished homemaker, Donna dedicated her life to her family, especially her husband of 52 years John A. D'Andrea, Sr., and her four sons-John A. Jr. (Christina), Nicholas (Amanda), Matthew (Debbie), and Andrew D'Andrea. She was a proud mother who found joy in every moment spent with her family, and her nine cherished grandchildren-Joseph, Giana, Francesca, Lorenza, Isabella, Luciana, Peyton, Hudson, and Matthew Jr.-were the light of her life. Family gatherings, especially her beloved Christmas Eve celebrations, were the highlight of her year, where laughter and love filled the home. Donna is also survived by her siblings, Ellen Lazaro (The late Rick) and Mark Toroniewski (Valarie) and many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday October 6, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass at 10:30 AM.
