After a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication, Doris Dixon of Philadelphia, PA has peacefully passed away at the age of 79 on February 19, 2024. Born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 2, 1944, Doris was a beloved caregiver at Christian Street Boarding Home, where she poured her heart into caring for others. Doris was known for her kindness, empathy, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.
Doris will be lovingly remembered by her devoted children: Paul Alexander Elliott, Lorna Elizabeth Henry Williams, Roy Alexander Elliott, and Winston Anthony Elliott, her loving nieces and Nephews , Christine Bryan, Denise Henry, Beverly Henry, Fay Henry, Leroy Henry and Delroy Henry and their children. Her loving grandchildren, Courtney Oliver Barrett, Kino-Paul Elliott, Camikia Doris Sculley, Jamelia Barrett, David Elliott, and Zouria Elliott, her beloved great grandchildren, Jaydene Thomas, Sejehan O’Neal Smith, Rojaye Thomas, and Zye Elliott and her siblings, Melvin Henry and Phyllis Blake. Through her work in the healthcare industry, Doris touched the lives of many and her legacy of compassion will forever live on.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Doris's life will be held on February 29, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Tomlinson Funeral Home, with a Viewing preceding at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private,
