Philadelphia

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Kroll (née Dickinson), a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on September 20, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John and Dorothy (née Wolfinger) Dickinson.

Dorothy dedicated her life to raising her children, instilling values such as kindness and compassion in each of them. She found joy in flowers, birds, and tv crime procedurals. Dorothy also loved shopping, sweets, and her Coke Zero.

She is survived by her children: Thomas Lindemuth, Stephen Lindemuth (Terri), Gregg Lindemuth (Favian), Monica Deaner (Alfred), and Michael Kroll (Karen). She is also survived by her brother, Mark Dickinson (Bridget).

Dorothy was a proud grandmother to Alfred C. Deaner III, Tyler Deaner, Stephen Lindemuth, Josh Kroll, Emma Lindemuth, Krista Lindemuth, William Lindemuth, Thomas Lindemuth, and Aiden Kroll. Also, the loving great-grandmother to Jamison Deaner.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Til Valhalla Project or Wounded Warrior Project.
