Dorothy G. Mcdermott

McDermott, Dorothy G. (nee) Trainor passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, on the feast of St. Francis of Assisi. She was 91 years old. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Amos “Tim” McDermott in 1996. She was a loving mother and friend to daughter, Patricia and loved dearly her son-in-law, Joseph and was always an adoring grandmother to Robert. Dot was an avid cat lover and cared for many furry friends over the years. Dorothy’s beautiful life was active as a girl scout leader in her early years and later years helping out and having fun with Pat at the craft shows. She loved her lunches with her girlfriends and the meetings and trips with St. Christopher’s Senior Club. Friends are invited to offer condolences on Saturday 9:30-10:00 am St Christopher’s Church 13301 Proctor Rd. Phila Pa. 19116. Followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment private.
