Douglas Gunderson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Gunderson, a beloved father, brother, and friend. Douglas was born on November 4, 1958, in Rolling Meadows, IL, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in Bensalem, PA.

A dedicated valet at Parx Racing, Douglas found joy in his work and cherished the interactions he had with colleagues. His passion for his son Ryan’s hockey career was evident and he never missed a chance to visit and watch him play.

Douglas is survived by his loving son, Ryan Gunderson, his sisters, Cindy Gunderson and Joyce Gunderson, and his partner Beth Grau. His memory will forever be cherished by those who knew him.

Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Douglas's name to a local charity or organization of your choice.

Although he may no longer be with us, Douglas's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace. www.tomlinsonfh.com
