Edward T. Darrah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward T. Darrah Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on September 9, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on August 3, 1943, in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to the late Clarence and Mildred (nee Brown) Darrah, Edward created a lifetime of cherished memories in the community he loved.

Edward is survived by his devoted spouse Kathleen (nee O’Brien), his children Debra Darrah, Edward T. Darrah Jr. (Marianne), Kathleen Frantzen (Kenneth), and Daniel Darrah. He leaves behind a legacy of love as a proud grandfather to Amanda Achinko (Adrian), Amber Lewis (Kiere), Emily Darrah, and Mackenzie Metcalf, and great grandfather to Wyatt, Emmett, Abigail, Kiere Jr., Keaton, and Kellan, who will forever treasure the moments they shared with him. He is survived by his 4 sisters, many nieces, and nephews, Edward was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and 1 sister.

An avid sports fan, Edward found joy in watching baseball and football and loved to share in the excitement of playing the lottery and visiting Parx Casino. His passion for life and love for his family will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

Edward dedicated much of his life to his work as a welder, spending his career at Baden Haus. Later in life, he also worked for Pepsi in various roles, where he retired from.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edward’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Thursday, September 17th from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
