Edward L. Meyers

Edward L. “Reds” Meyers Sr., of Bensalem, passed away on July 11, 2023. He was 91 years old. Edward was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1951-1955. After serving, he worked as an electrician and service technician for the Philadelphia Electric Company for 40 years in the HVAC and Elevator Division of the Building Management Department. For over 15 years, he was a Board Member of the Red Cross of Lower Bucks County, where he ran the Disaster Team. In his free time, Edward was a Scout Master for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, a baseball coach for the American Legion and Babe Ruth Leagues. He was married for 57 years to Dolores “Dorrie” Meyers, who passed on June 6th, 2008. Edward will be deeply missed by his children: Linda Susan Morrin (Daniel), Edward Meyers Jr. (Kathleen), Daniel Meyers (Patricia), and Julie Ann Meyers, as well as his 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and his lovely lady friend, Mary Lou Sharkey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Saturday, July 15th from 9:30-10:30 AM AM followed by his Service at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
