Edward William Ryan

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward William Ryan, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Edward was born on October 21, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late John and Marie (nee Dombrowski) Ryan. He peacefully passed away on June 25, 2025.

Ed was a devoted worker throughout his life. Outside of work, Ed found joy in camping, photography, horseshoes, BINGO, and spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife Helene Ryan (nee Travis), son Ed Ryan (Kathy Ryan), grandchildren, John Ryan, Ryan Devine (Courtney Stettler), Colleen Devine, and other family members and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his daughter Patricia Devine (nee Ryan) in 2024.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed’s visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Tuesday, July 15th from 12:00-1:00 PM, followed by his memorial service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

As we come together to remember Ed, let us cherish the memories we shared with him and find solace in the impact he had on our lives. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved and will be deeply missed.
