Edward G. Sessa

Edward G. Sessa of Bensalem passed away Tuesday, March 07, 2017 at Aria Health Torresdale. He was 78 years old. Ed was born in Philadelphia and has been a resident of Bensalem for 41 years and was formerly of Philadelphia. Ed enjoyed spending time at the beach, whether he was fishing or basking in the sun and drinking a cold Bud light but his great joy and love was spending time with his grandchildren. Ed was a horse trainer at Parx Racing for 35 years and loved life on the track. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years Melanie T. (Hertrich). Ed is survived by his two loving daughters Melanie T. Sessa and Jacqueline Janzer (Thomas). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Gregory (Corinne) and Melanie Sailor, Thomas, Taylor and Julia Janzer and 3 great grandchildren; Kylie, Kendall and Bryce. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 8 PM.
