Edward W Ryan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward W. Ryan, who left us peacefully on May 29, 2026, at the age of 68. Ed was born on January 12, 1958, in Philadelphia, PA, and spent his life bringing joy and dedication to those around him.

A proud graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1975, Ed devoted 51 years of his career as a service technician at Sears, where his work ethic and friendly demeanor earned him the respect and affection of colleagues and customers alike.

Outside of work, Ed was a true lover of the outdoors. Whether he was camping, tending to his yard, or riding dirt bikes with his son, he embraced every opportunity to enjoy nature. A Ford Mustang enthusiast in his youth, Ed also found great pleasure in sharing stories and creating memories with his family. He also enjoyed dining out, cooking weekend breakfast and eating homecooked family dinners. Ed’s warmth and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Ed leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Kathy A. (Hrinko) Ryan; his cherished son, John Ryan; and his devoted mother, Helene (Travis) Ryan and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was preceded in death by his father, Edward W. Ryan and his sister Patricia Devine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 1 to 2 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 2 PM. Interment will be private.
