Edward Robert Wahl

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Robert Wahl, who left us peacefully on February 25, 2026, at the age of 77. Edward was born on February 18, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Edward and Catherine (nee Zawaski) Wahl and spent his later years in Bristol, PA, where he created a warm and loving home.

Edward is survived by his beloved spouse of 43 years, Michelle Wahl, and their cherished daughter, Jessica Wahl, and his adored grandchildren, Lucas Edward Wahl, and Jackson Allen Wahl. He also leaves behind a supportive family including his nieces, nephews, brother, James Greer (Debbie), and his sisters Janet Dattilo (Vincent), Bethany Gail Crowther (Brad), and Jennifer Dale Stanton (Thomas Ray) and his sister-in-law, Phyllis Hess. Edward’s family, friends, and all who knew him will remember him for his unwavering kindness and strong dedication to those he loved. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Hess.

Throughout his life, Edward served his country honorably in the Army from February 22, 1980, until his discharge on September 1, 1983, achieving the rank of SP5. Following his military service, he devoted many years of his life to his work as a postal worker for the United States Postal Service. His commitment to his community and his work was only rivaled by his passion for life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, a devoted fan of NASCAR racing, and found immense joy in spending time with his family and friends. Edward's laughter and easygoing demeanor brightened the lives of many, and his absence will be profoundly felt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edward’s viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Monday, March 9th from 12:00-1:00 PM followed by his service at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

Edward will be remembered for the love he shared and the lives he touched. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Please join us in celebrating a remarkable man who dedicated his life to his family, friends, and country.
