Eileen Viola Keenan

Eileen V. Keenan, of Philadelphia, passed away on June 20th, surrounded by her loving family. She was 79 years old. Eileen worked as a bus driver for over 30 years, the last 27 for the Bensalem School District. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the casino, visiting the beaches and, most of all spending time with her family and friends, who loved her great sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her children, Kimberly Austin, James Keenan (Pauline), and Christopher Keenan Sr. (Barbara), her grandchildren: Brian, Kevin, Christopher, Kyle, Haley, Douglas, Emily, Patrick, Shayne, Pauline, Erin, Jimmy, and Raquel, and her siblings, Joanne Alba (Fran), and Shirley Brown (Guy), as well as her sister-in-law, June Small, and many nieces and nephews. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, James and her brothers, Stanley “Stoshu” Small, Robert Kosmalski as well as her brother-in-law Gerald Jacobs. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, Pa 19020 on Thursday, June 29th from 9:30-11:00 AM followed by her Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
