Elaine Joan Rowen

Elaine J. (Galichinski) Rowen of Bensalem passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. She was 83 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Stella (Kolocziejchuk) and Joseph Galichinski and was a resident of Bensalem for the last 55 years.

Elaine worked as a manager for Famous Maid and Allison Shops for many years and later as a bank teller. She also worked as a self-employed seamstress, before her retirement.

Outside of work, Elaine found joy in simple pleasures. She had a love for animals and cherished her beloved fur babies, Reese and Oliver, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, tending to her plants and flowers, bringing beauty to her surroundings. She also enjoyed coloring and building puzzles.

Elaine had a zest for life and loved to dance. She and her late husband loved to dance to 50s oldies, creating lasting memories on the dance floor. Her vibrant spirit and love for music brought joy to those around her.

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Rowen. She will be sadly missed by her 4 loving children: Karen Sabatini (Ronald), Peter Wytish (Alice), Donna Sheahan (Frank), and William Rowen (Maureen). She is also survived by her brother Richard Galichinski; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Domborowski; Her grandson, Brandon Rowen; her sister-in-law, Joanna Galichinski and her brother-in-law, Frank Domborowski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 1:30 PM.
