Emily Tivillia Lorah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Emily Tivillia Lorah, a beloved member of the Bristol, PA community. Emily was born on November 24, 1954, in Palmerton, PA, and passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 69.

Emily was a cherished sister to Barbara Shapiro and Herb Lorah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nevin and Betty (nee Hughes) Lorah, and her sister, Colleen Burt. Emily was a dedicated Head Cook at St. Mary Medical Center, where she shared her passion for food and hospitality with all she encountered.

Emily's commitment extended beyond her professional life, as she served as the Former President of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Charles P. McMenamy American Legion Post 178 in Philadelphia, where she made a lasting impact on those around her.

A Graveside Service to honor Emily's life will be held at Magnolia Cemetery on July 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, there will be a cremation ceremony at 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954, on July 19, 2024.
