Ernest F. Cooper

Ernest F. Cooper of Bensalem passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. He was 78 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas and Sophie (Lange) Cooper. Ernest was a resident of Bensalem for the last 8 years and was formerly of North East Philadelphia. He worked for the Philadelphia School District for over 35 years as a Building Engineer. Ernest was an avid model train collector. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, puzzles, endless camping trips and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. Ernest will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 54 years, Linda (Geist). He is also survived by his three children: Dawn Lacerte (Paul), Kimberly Hecht (Michael) and Eric Cooper (Virginia); His sisters: Mary Wark and Judy Erhardt; and his 7 grandchildren: Daniel (Fiancé Julianna), Silke, Theresa, Matthew, Ryan, Dylan and Ivan. Ernest was preceded in death by his sister, Denise Burkeholder. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 6 to 7 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his Service at 7 PM. Interment will be private.
