Faye C. Erdman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Faye C. (Glasgow) Erdman, who left us peacefully on Wednesday June 11, 2025, at the age of 88. Faye was born on December 5, 1936, in Belleville, IL to the late Vera (Hall) and Raymond Glasgow and was a resident of Bensalem since 1958. Faye worked for the family furniture business, Erdman Furniture & Leather Expressions as an office manager for over 60 years.

Faye was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest. She had a lifelong passion for reading and a deep appreciation for learning. Faye was also a skilled bridge player with the AMI Bridge Club, where she enjoyed the strategy, challenge, and friendships the game brought her. A devoted fan of Jeopardy!, Faye routinely impressed those around her with her quick wit and vast knowledge—often outpacing the contestants with surprising ease. Knitting was another of Faye’s cherished pastimes. She especially loved creating blankets, which she generously donated to babies in need. Faye also enjoyed being part of the LACE Women’s Group at St. Ephrem Church, especially when her health allowed her to be more active.

Alongside her late husband Lloyd, Faye enjoyed many happy moments boating on the Chesapeake Bay, in Georgetown, MD. Her love of history was evident in her conversations, and she often captivated her family with fascinating stories and anecdotes.

Faye was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Lloyd J. Erdman. She leaves behind her 5 loving children: Barbara Dove (Bruce); Steven Erdman (Ann Marie Walsh), Richard Erdman (Erika); Marion Bianchini (Anthony) and Katherine Brown. Faye is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Angela, Alexis, Anthony, Samantha, Steven, Julia, Bailey and Camryn; 7 great grandchildren Elijah, Callie, Camden, Anthony, Lola, Levi and Ellis. Faye is survived by one brother, Timothy McDaniel. Faye was also a cherished part of her loving extended families, including the Knell, McGee, McShane, and Whener families.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Tuesday July 8, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass at 11 AM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com
