Florence (Flossie) Martin, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, peacefully passed away on December 2, 2023. Born on November 27, 1960, in Philadelphia, Her kind-hearted spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Florence dedicated her life to caring for others as a Nurses Aide in the healthcare industry. Her compassion and empathy made her an exceptional caregiver, touching the lives of countless patients and their families throughout her career. She was known for her gentle touch, comforting presence, and the genuine concern she showed for those in her care.
Family was of paramount importance to Florence. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Joseph Martin, with whom she shared many joyous years. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and support. Florence was also a cherished mother to her children, James Brady Jr (Nicholas Burgert), Amanda Altomare (Nicholas), Jeremy Brady (Amanda) Joseph Martin, and Amber Martin, who fondly remember her as a selfless and nurturing mother. She adored her grandkids Dylan Chunn, David Burns, Kaylee Altomare, and Matthew Brady, and treasured the time spent making memories with them.
Florence valued the special bond she had with her siblings, Patricia Slick, Mary Jane Falzone, Annmarie Stepnowski, Barbara DeBolt and brother Thomas Lewis. Florence had many nieces and nephews that she cared for deeply. Their shared experiences and unconditional support brought them closer, creating a loving and tight-knit family.
In her free time, Florence enjoyed dancing, shopping, and going to Parx Casino.
Family and friends are invited to attend Florence’s Viewing on December 7, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020, and again on Friday, December 8th from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM followed by her Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Florence Martin touched the lives of many and her presence will be missed deeply. May her soul be at eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire kindness and compassion in all of us.
