Frances Marie Crist

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Marie Crist, who departed this life on February 19, 2025, at the age of 70. Frances was born on March 12, 1954, to the late Donald and Hildegarde Kanouse, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. She lived her life with warmth and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

Frances was a devoted mother to her son, Joseph Resch, and her daughter, Colleen Resch. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Donna Shehadi and Louise Kanouse. Frances was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Patrick Resch, and Arthur Crist. A cherished friend to many, Frances had a special gift for making everyone feel valued and included

Frances enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, forging beautiful memories that she shared with her family and friends. Her enthusiasm for life and adventurous spirit inspired those around her and brought joy to many.

She dedicated her working years to the retail industry as a stockroom worker at Dollar Tree, where her commitment and strong work ethic were evident. Though she did not seek a college degree, she valued education and personal growth, always encouraging her loved ones to pursue their dreams.

Frances Marie Crist will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, love, and adventure will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Her family is grateful for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
