Francis J. Engelmann

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis J. Engelmann, lovingly known as Frank on Saturday, November 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Bucks County all his life. Frank was a guy who didn't have pretense but was authentic, real and liked by everyone and deeply loved by his family and friends. Everyone who knew Frank got the real version of the man. He also dedicated his time to serving others in many capacities. He had worked as a bus driver for Neshaminy School District and was a banquet manager at Georgines for many years. He had a passion for his work and a commitment to community service and will be remembered fondly by those lives he touched. Outside of work, Frank enjoyed the simple pleasure in life. He loved vacations at the beach with his wife and grandkids and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Frank eagerly cheered on his favorite teams especially the Eagles and Phillies and was exceptionally enthusiastic. However, it was in the company of his beloved grandchildren, Kane and Gianna where Frank found his true joy. His eyes would light up as he spent time cheering them on during their sporting activities and creating precious memories that will forever be remembered. Frank is survived by his loving wife and best friend Elaine (Snyder) Engelmann of 32 years. He is also survived by his daughters Dana Pierson (Daniel) and Rachael Engelmann, his mother Geraldine Holdsworth, (Joe Thomas) his sisters Terry Engelmann and Joanne Hoff (Bud), Kathleen Holdsworth, brothers Michael Engelmann (Verna), Michael Holdsworth (Linda), Billy Holdsworth (Lorie), sister in laws Bev Mahon (Mike), Faye Breece (Alan), Gail Clawges, Iva Turner, Ebby Turner (Wayne), Bobbie Patton and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Frank was preceded in death by his father Frank Engelmann, brother in laws Gil Howard and Bill Turner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by service at 3:30 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a trust fund that will be set up for Franks’s grandchildren.
