Francis X Havel

Francis Xavier Havel Jr., of Philadelphia, was called to heaven on April 12th. He was 73 years old. Francis was a proud Veteran of the Unites States Navy. After serving, he worked as a truck driver for Franks’ Beverages for over 20 years, then pursued loss prevention. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time at Parx Casino and playing the horses at the race track. Francis is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathleen (nee Gormley), his children: Brian Havel (Audrey) and Natalie Havel, and his sisters: Kathleen Palmer and Eileen Plunkett. Francis was predeceased by his brothers: Joe Havel and Mark Havel, as well as his grandchild Kane X Richardson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Francis’ Visitation at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA, 19020 on Saturday, April 23rd from 2:00-3:00 PM followed by his Service at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date.
