Francis Maddalo Obituary

Francis Vincent Maddalo of Philadelphia passed away on September 13th, he was 64

years old. Frank worked as a Commercial Sign Painter for many years with admirable

dedication to excellent craftsmanship. He loved music, tinkering in his garage, building

miniature war models, his ‘57 Chevy, collectables and antiques, roller skating, hockey,

his cats, crabbing and boating. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Frank

was truly one of a kind, he was a sentimental guy with a big heart. He always took care

of the people around him, could give you a good laugh when you needed it most,

always kept his word, and gave sometimes unconventional, but great advice. “If you put

your head down, remember to pick it back up”. Francis will be deeply missed by his

children, Anthony Maddalo (Gabrielle) and Andrea Maddalo, his granddaughter, Gia

Maddalo, former wife and devoted friend, Karen Divitis, his siblings, Michael J. Maddalo

(Christine) and Carol Ann Burkert (Robert), Mechelle Maddalo and his nieces, nephews, friends and

neighbors. Services and interment for Francis will be private.
