Francis Joseph Mawson

Francis Joseph Mawson Sr, of Philadelphia, passed away on April 4th. He was 65 years old. Francis worked as a machinist for Boeing for over 20 years. He was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, often ending his phone calls with “Go Birds!”. He will be sorely missed by his children: Francis Mawson Jr., Robert Mawson (Dawn), Megan Mawson, and Jennifer Mawson, as well as his grandchildren: Devin Ortiz, Alyssa Munoz, Dylon Williams Jr., Francis Mawson III, Robert Mawson Jr., and Ryan Mawson, and his great grandchildren: Vanessa Ortiz, and Violet Ortiz. Francis is also survived by his siblings: Robert Mawson, Richard Mawson, Karen Bandosz, Janice Mawson, Theresa Eiler, Joan Marchesani, Mary Jane Law, and David Mawson. Francis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mildred (nee Hummer) in 2000. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Saturday, April 10th for 2:00-3:00 PM at Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa 19020. Services and interment are private.
