Francis S. Mccloskey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francis S. McCloskey, age 87, of Feasterville Trevose, Pennsylvania, who departed this life peacefully on July 6, 2025. Born on October 14, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph R. and Mary E. (nee Stroman) McCloskey, Francis was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose warmth and compassion deeply touched the lives of all who knew him.

Francis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After his service, he followed his passion as a self-employed mechanic and proudly operated McCloskey Fork Lift Services. His dedication to his work was matched only by his love for his family and his commitment to enriching his community as a Republican Committeeman.

An avid gardener, Frank found tranquility tending to his plants, and he often found joy in watching the Philadelphia Eagles, cheering on his beloved team with a spirit that reflected his vibrant personality. He was a hands-on man who cherished working on vehicles and sharing his knowledge with those around him.

Francis leaves behind a loving legacy, survived by his daughters, Frances McCloskey (Leon Ciccarello), Patricia McClain (Shaun), and Celeste Waters (Tim); grandchildren Billy McCloskey, Andrew McCloskey, Desirae McCloskey, Shane Murphy, Candace Waters, Brittany Murphy, Christopher Ciccarello, and Michael Waters; as well as his cherished great-grandchildren Isabelle Edwards, Isabella Maratea, Lucas Gutierrez, and Hazel Gutierrez. His presence will be profoundly missed throughout his close-knit family and community. Francis was preceded in death by his wife, Florence, and his brothers, Robert McCloskey (Jeannie), Willard Samual Williams, and Joseph McCloskey.
