Francis R. “Frank” Peiffer

Francis R. “Frank” Peiffer, 88, of Bensalem, PA, and Brigantine, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 22, 1937, he was the last surviving of eight children of the late Lillian (Smith) and William Peiffer.

Frank shared 68 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Joan (Sock) Peiffer. Quiet by nature yet strong in spirit, he lived his life with kindness and a deep love for his family.

A proud veteran of the Korean War, Frank served his country with honor before beginning a 42-year career at Nabisco, where he was a dedicated member of the Bakery and Confectionery Union.

Frank found happiness in life’s quiet pleasures — meals shared with family, the beauty of his garden, the peace of nature, the companionship of animals, and the calm of days spent down the shore.

He was a devoted father to Joan (and William) Smith, the late Randy (and Susan) Peiffer, and the late Francis “Pete” Peiffer, Jr; a loving grandfather to Troy Peiffer, Tanya Peiffer, Stephen (and Michelle) Smith, and Brian Smith; and a proud great-grandfather to Troy Peiffer Jr., Peyton Peiffer, and Ezekiel Peiffer. He is reunited in heaven with his great-granddaughter, Emma Leigh Smith.

Frank’s gentle strength, generosity, and quiet love will be deeply missed — and forever remembered by those who knew him best.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 11:00 – 12:00 PM, at Nativity of our Lord, 605 W Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974 followed by his service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
