Frank C. Leonhardt, III

Frank C. Leonhardt, III, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated member of the law enforcement community, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on May 16, 1960, in Belleville, NJ, to the late Doris (nee Herzer) and Frank C. Leonhardt Jr., and spent his life dedicated to serving others.

A proud police officer, Frank served the Bucks County Sheriff's Office for five years before dedicating an impressive 38 years to the Lower Southampton Police Department, where he retired as a Sergeant. He also contributed his expertise as the recording secretary of FOP Lodge 53. Frank’s commitment to public service was only matched by his love for his family and friends.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Donna Leonhardt, and their children: Melissa Leonhardt, Christina Fullwood and her husband, Donte Fullwood, and Frank C. Leonhardt IV and his wife, Kayce Leonhardt. He was a cherished grandfather to his five grandchildren: Zachary, Grayson, Alexander, Hunter, and Colton. He is also remembered fondly by his brother-in-law, Dave Farren (the late Carol).

In his free time, Frank enjoyed camping, visiting the shore, off-roading, and attending antique car shows. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, who brought laughter and fulfillment to his life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank’s viewing at the New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive, Newtown, Pa 18940 on Wednesday, June 17th from 5:00-7:00 PM, followed by his service at 7:00 PM. A second viewing will be held at New Life Christian Church on Thursday, June 18th from 10:00-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Emilie United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Frank’s name to FOP Lodge 53, 1058 Mill Creek Road, Wycombe, Pa 18980.

Frank C. Leonhardt, III will forever be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his passionate service in law enforcement, and the countless lives he touched throughout his journey. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
