Gary T. Roberts

Gary T. Roberts, a beloved member of the Newportville, PA community, passed away on November 7, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Bristol, PA to the late Henry and Katherine (Scott) Roberts and was a lifelong resident of Newportville.

As an entrepreneur, Gary dedicated over 25 years of his life to the waste disposal industry, becoming the proud owner and operator of Daley-Roberts Refuse Removal, Inc. and T&L Container Services. He also owned and operated Waste Alternatives, Inc. His commitment to providing efficient waste management solutions touched the lives of countless individuals in the community and throughout the State.

Gary's entrepreneurial spirit was only matched by his involvement and devotion to various organizations. He was a member of the Bracken Cadets, Pennsylvania Independent Waste Haulers Association (PIWHA), Solid Waste Advisory Board, Cruisin’ Classics Car Club, Hummer Club, Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T), Civilian Fire Academy, and the Newportville-Fergusonville Town Watch. His dedication to serving his community and making a positive impact will forever be remembered.

Beyond his professional and community achievements, Gary's true joy in life came from his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Caroline (Myers) Roberts, who stood by his side throughout their beautiful journey together. Gary is also survived by his children, Gary Roberts (ToQuyen), Tracy Roberts, and Ryan Roberts (Tamika), and his sister, Carol Duffy. He was also a beloved grandfather to Taylor, Sarah, Jessica, Aiden, Koby, and Jason, with the special delight of welcoming a great-grandson into the family in December.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 8 PM. Interment will be private. www.tomlinsonfh.com
