Gayle M. Humes

Gayle M. (Jano) Humes of Philadelphia passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She was 58 years old. Born in Philadelphia to the late Paul, jr. and Gayle (Edwards) Jano. Gayle was a resident of South Philadelphia for the last 20 years and was formerly of Levittown. She worked as a machine operator for Comfort Products for over 30 years. Gayle enjoyed watching the Phillies and was an avid collector of Snoopy memorabilia. She served 41 years in ministry with the Philadelphia Christian Center. Gayle will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 15 years, Edward F. Humes, Jr. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Jano, 3rd. (Lynne) and her nephew, Paul Jano. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Friday from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Philadelphia Christian Center, 2990 Street Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Service at 10:30 AM.
