George E. Hashagen a life-long resident of Croydon died on Friday evening, October 30, 2015 at his residence. He was 93 years old.
George was a retired Chemical Equipment Operator for the former Rohm and Haas, Bristol/Croydon Plant. He was an Army veteran of W.W.II, a POW, recipe ant of the Purple Heart and 3 Bronze Stars. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, country music and loved spending time outdoors taking care of his yard and taking walks.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose Marie (nee) Hakes Hashagen; 3 children, Steven G. (Robin), ArlanD. (Michelle) and Patricia A. Johnston (George); 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Grey (Bill), Jamie, Travis Broadwater and 2 great-grandchildren, Kyle and Peyton. George is also survived by 2 brothers, Harry and Paul Hashagen and was preceded in death by 5 deceased sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, 10-11 A.M., Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem PA 19020 followed by Services 11 A.M. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
