George M. Sottung

George M. Sottung of Croydon passed away suddenly, April 10, 2023, Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 48 years old. Born in Bristol PA and was a lifelong resident of Croydon. George was a lifetime member of the Croydon Fire Company, Station#11. He served as the Past Vice President, Past Insurance Trustee, Past Trustee, and a Past Captain. George enjoyed collecting toy trains and baseball cards. He was also an avid Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Yankees fan. George will be sadly missed by his loving mother, Ruth (Brannan) Ashton. He is also survived by his children; Kimberly (Jesse) and Madison Sottung and Maxx Miller; His Fiancé, Mary Misavage; His grandson, Charles Gibson; His brother, Bill Findlay (Kim) and his nephews and niece, Billy, Hunter, and Autumn Findlay, and his dog, Pork Chop. George was preceded in death by his father, George J. Sottung. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 9 to 11 AM at the Croydon Fire Company, Station#11, 911 State Rd., Croydon, PA 19021, followed by his service at 11 AM.
