Geraldine Ellen Marshall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and teacher from Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, one day before her 83rd birthday. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 19, 1941, she leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication.
Geraldine's love for teaching extended far beyond the classroom. She spent many years at Eastern State School and Hospital, positively impacting the lives of many students. Her passion for education was evident in everything she did, including her desire to go to college, while raising her children, to receive a Bachelor’s degree. She will always be remembered for the compassion and kindness she showed to all those around her.
She found joy in the simple things in life, whether it was enjoying the mountains or relaxing on the beach. Geraldine loved art, reading, ceramics, woodworking, and crocheting, finding solace and contentment in these activities. Her gentle spirit and creative soul touched the many hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband William Meszaros, children Jeanne Cotugno (Dominic), Charles Marshall (Mary), Lynda Gasper (David), Ronald Marshall (Raeann), William Marshall (Susan), Christina Kanuck (Jay), Maria Kleintz, William Meszaros Jr. (Allison) and Dana Harris (Pete), along with their grandchildren, Dominic, Michele, Stephen, Eric, William, Nicholas, Patrick, Autumn, Jesse, Andrew, Kelsey, Aidan, Sierria, Katlyn, Payton, Paige, Brooke, Benjamin, her great grandchildren, Anna, Taylen, Olivia, Presley, Peyton, and Ellie, and her brother, Robert Anderson (Norma), and many nieces and nephews. Their memories together will forever hold a special place in their hearts as they celebrate a beautiful life well-lived.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday eve from 6 to 8 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery.
